ramsac to manage technology transfer as Mash Marketing moves to a new London headquarters
ramsac provides it support to growing London-based marketing agency
ramsac, a leading IT solutions consultancy, today announced that it has been instructed by the independent London-based promotional staffing and event specialists, Mash Marketing to manage the entire technology transfer from its Southbank office to new larger premises in the capital.
ramsac are providing Mash Marketing, who have recently worked with organisations including Chelsea Football Club, Ralph Lauren and Motorola, with a seamless IT system to improve the overall efficiency of the organisation, enabling the agency to focus on providing the high standard of service it is known for, without unnecessary IT disruptions.
Office Manger of Mash Marketing, Georgina Clements had previous experience of working with ramsac and explains why she referred them to Mash, “The IT systems in our office are vital for us to manage the business and keep in regular email contact with the hundreds of staff on our books. We realised that we had outgrown our existing IT support provider and having used ramsac in the past, I knew they were an established company capable of meeting our expectations now and in the future.”
As part of Mash Marketing’s growth strategy it is moving to new premises in London and ramsac will oversee the entire technology transfer, ensuring that no unplanned downtime occurs and all systems - including a recently implemented business continuity strategy for email access using Mimecast technology - are operational as soon as they move in.
As well as their involvement with the relocation project, ramsac will provide Mash Marketing with on ongoing outsourced IT services. In addition to remote support for the immediate resolution of IT issues, ramsac is providing Mash Marketing with a dedicated IT consultant who will make regular visits to the site to conduct proactive maintenance and develop its IT strategy. Managing Director of ramsac, Robert May comments, “Mash Marketing will benefit from an experienced IT consultant who understands their systems and the business requirements of technology, crucially, without the costs typically associated with recruiting a professional of such calibre.”
Already Mash Marketing has seen the benefit of changing suppliers “As we continued to grow, we were unsure as to whether our existing system would be able to cope with the additional workload”, explains Clements “ We asked ramsac to provide a quote for a new server, but were pleased to hear that after evaluating our infrastructure, their advice was that our existing system would be able to support the extra users. Moving forward ramsac will monitor the performance of the system, so we can budget for a new server when the time is right. Obviously this has helped us make the most of the money we have invested in our IT systems."
