ramsac’s Dan May appointed to Surrey Chambers of Commerce Board
ramsac, a leading IT solutions consultancy, today announced the appointment of its Operations Director, Dan May, to the Surrey Chambers of Commerce Board of Directors. Surrey Chambers of Commerce represents over 1000 businesses in Surrey, providing them with information, support, a range of promotional opportunities, a voice to government and specialised services such as International Trade.
Membership of Surrey Chambers of Commerce includes companies of all sizes and from all sectors of business. The organisation hosts over 100 events a year, bringing business people together to network, exchange ideas and of course do business.
Explained Louise Punter, Chief Executive of Surrey Chambers of Commerce, “The Board fulfills all the responsibilities of any private sector board for the corporate governance, direction and stewardship of the company. In particular, our board members provide strategic direction and leadership to the Chamber and maintain an overview of the needs of the Surrey economy and businesses to ensure that our programmes and services are well tailored to the needs of the Surrey business community.”
Punter continued, “We are delighted to welcome Dan May to the board. As ramsac’s Operations Director, he has brought a wealth of expertise and experience to the organisation. He has already used his skills in getting involved in a number of working groups that we are currently managing, such as the foundation degree for SMEs and the Surrey Community Foundation Fund.”
